Originally built for the mill at Extwistle.
Owd Tat was not at home when the fire started. Unfortunately though, many documents relating to the history of the area were destroyed by the flames.
Owd Tat went to live at Lee Green. His home was not rebuilt but the stones were used in the present Elders' 'i' th' Row farmhouse.
